EN Early Socialization: The Critical First 16 Weeks

The first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life are crucial for their emotional and social development. This period determines much of their adult personality.
Why is it So Important?
During this period, the puppy’s brain is especially receptive to new experiences. What they learn now will be imprinted for their entire life.
Our Socialization Protocol
At ROROs Labs we implement the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and Super Dog Program:
- Days 3-16: Early neurological stimulation exercises
- Weeks 3-16: Gradual exposure to different sounds, textures, and people
- Weeks 4-8: Controlled interaction with other adult dogs
What to Do at Home (Weeks 8-16)
- Meet new people: Introduce your puppy to different people: children, elderly, people with hats, beards, uniforms.
- Diverse sounds: Vacuum cleaner, blender, fireworks (on video at low volume).
- Surfaces: Grass, concrete, sand, metal, wood.
- Other animals: Vaccinated dogs, cats, birds.
- Experiences: Car rides, vet visits, pet-friendly stores.
Warning Signs
If your puppy shows extreme fear that doesn’t improve with positive exposure, consult with a veterinary behaviorist.
